
Will joined Benchmark Group in 2006 after earning his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He received his Professional Engineering license in January 2012 and is currently licensed in 34 states. In 2015, Will became a Certified Energy Manager (C.E.M.). Over the years, he has led the design and implementation of numerous refrigeration systems for large retail clients, including Transcritical CO2 (TCO2), CO₂ and Glycol secondary overfeed systems, traditional direct expansion (DX) loop and circuited systems, and air/water/evaporative cooled condensers.
As refrigeration technology continues to evolve, Will remains at the forefront of industry advancements and regulations and actively researches and integrates cutting-edge solutions. He also stays informed on the transition to next-generation refrigerants which offer improved energy efficiency and lower environmental impact. His close collaboration with major refrigeration rack and case manufacturers ensures that his designs meet the highest standards of sustainability, efficiency, and adaptability throughout a project’s lifecycle.
