Electrical Engineer

Alexis is a Professional Engineer at Benchmark Group, where he is responsible for developing electrical plans based on Client scope and existing site information. This includes analyzing previous plans or current scope documents to ensure accurate and effective design execution. Alexis has experience with remodels for large retail Clients such as Target, Sams, and Walmart, as well as experience on site adapts for Walmart, Sams, Walmart Fuel, Sams Fuel, and Circle K. Another key part of Alexis’ role involves leading the MEP scoping for Walmart in Puerto Rico.

Alexis joined Benchmark Group as a Designer, later earning a promotion to Engineer in Training before becoming a licensed Engineer. Previous to Benchmark Group, he gained experience as an assistant to a master electrician, where he gained valuable insight into how electrical drawings are translated into real-world applications. Alexis uses this background experience to guide his work as an Engineer today.

Alexis graduated from the University of Puerto Rico – Mayaguez Campus and is a member of the Colegio de Ingeniero y Agrimensores de Puerto Rico (CIAPR).
