Matt began working for Benchmark in 2004 on the Walmart remodel team as a designer and quickly moved into a Project Coordinator/QC specialist role.  He was later promoted to Program Manager where he managed the day to day operations of multiple project types for several national clients.   Currently, Matt holds the role of Benchmark Group’s Engineering Program Director.  He is a Professional Engineer, LEED® AP certified, and is licensed in 45 states, including Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.

Matt has extensive project experience which includes design in lighting, power, refrigeration, and energy management systems.  As a Program Manager, he prepared proposals, handled project budget development, analyzed and managed project performance, coordinated project schedules, and performed quality checks.  In his current role as Engineering Program Director, Matt uses his experience to manage, direct, and improve operations for Benchmark Group’s engineering teams while ensuring the continued development and exceptional performance of Staff, and the overall success of Clients’ projects.  Matt has a dynamic personality that inspires Staff to work to their fullest potential and is skilled in cultivating positive relationships with Clients and colleagues alike.
