Electrical Engineer

Joshua is an Electrical Engineer with experience in electrical design for large-scale retail renovation and capital improvement projects. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Lyon College and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arkansas. After joining Benchmark Group as an intern in 2019, he transitioned to a full-time role following graduation and has continued to grow within the company.

Joshua specializes in the design and coordination of electrical systems for retail remodels and prototype-driven programs, including power distribution, electrical load calculations, equipment selection, lighting design, and multidisciplinary coordination. In addition to his engineering experience, he has more than 10 years of experience as a licensed Residential Journeyman Electrician, providing valuable field knowledge that enhances his practical approach to design.

In his current role as an Electrical Engineer, Joshua develops electrical system designs for nationwide retail projects and collaborates with architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver efficient, code-compliant solutions. As a licensed Professional Engineer, he provides technical expertise and engineering oversight to help ensure high-quality project execution for Clients across the country.
